Rajiv B. Lall has over thirty years of experience as an investor and advisor with Warburg Pincus in Singapore and New York, as an economist and policy advisor with Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong, the World Bank in Washington D.C., the Asian Development Bank in Manila, Philippines, and in academia. In January 2005, he took over the role of MD & CEO of IDFC (Infrastructure Development Finance Company) in India. From 1997 till 2004, Rajiv was with Warburg Pincus, one of the largest private equity firms in the world. At Warburg Pincus, Rajiv has focused on investing in financial services and the firm’s portfolio allocation and strategy decisions on a global basis. He has represented the firm on the board of a number of portfolio companies and is member of the firm’s Economics Advisory Committee. Rajiv holds a BA from the University of Oxford and Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University. |
