The four banks are complemented by a private social investment fund. responsAbility's mission is to convey private and institutional capital to promising initiatives in developing countries, and support income generation and sustainable development in those countries. responsAbility provides a range of financial products and services with an initial focus on the established market of microfinance. The responsAbility Global Microfinance Fund, which was launched in Luxembourg in November 2003, makes investments in microfinance throughout the world. The Fund is managed by Credit Suisse Microfinance Fund Management Company.
