About Jagannatha:
Jagannatha Financial Services Limited (JFSL) was incorporated as a public limited company in April 2006 and commenced business from May 2006. JFSL is a part of the KAS group of Microfinance Institutions.
Mr. S Kathiresan, promoter of the KAS group founded the KAS Foundation in August 2003 and Kathir Foundation in April 2004 with a vision "to be a self-sustaining change agent to enable the low income community to convert itself into a progressive, educated and economically empowered society". KAS Foundation is the first MFI which started its operations in all the Districts of Orissa, even in the tribal dominated inaccessible Districts. Mr. Kathiresan launched JFSL in order to achieve more rapid expansion and greater scale.
